I had an enjoyable stay but the king suite rooms could use more TLC

The breakfast was great, and the view was spectacular. The staff was very welcoming

The water in the shower did not drain correctly And the room could use some deep cleaning and light fixes

Nice spot for a couple days in San Pedro

Great breakfast and nice aesthetic to the place. Amazing view when the sun comes out and lights up the pool.

Can be pretty loud if you don’t enjoy the music, wasn’t really an issue but could be so more a forewarning to not book the pool view rooms.

Great location

The location is really good. The breakfast great. The grounds are very beautiful just need a little more cleaning. The staff was nice and helpful. It is right on the lake and very easy access to boats.

This hotel is beautiful at first glance however when you look closely it is not very clean. The pool even though its clean every morning leaves alot to be desired . Around the pool is very dirty and even the day bed in the pool I had to wipe it down with sanitizing wipes before I lay on it. All the outside furnitures are old worn out and dirty. I had to put a towel down to sit because the cushions were so gross.

Great and would definitely recommend to friends and family .

Very clean , beautiful scenery and the staff was excellent. We easily walked to nearby restaurants. Try Vicky restaurant right across from Sababa!

The dorms need a little work but overall I had a fabulous stay and would recommend to friends!

It was so cute! The staff were amazing. The breakfast was really good.

Dorms need some work. It got really stuffy during the day and most of the night. I fan would help that. Both showers had issues. The first one had a broken spout and the second one filled with water after few minutes. It was also clear that they had not been clean for a bit. Also, the pole to hold curtains on my bed kept falling and they used a sheet instead of curtains, which didn’t stretch the whole way.

Good

Very comfortable rooms, nice breakfast

The hotel es next to a loud bar, so you could have trouble sleeping. You can also hear music from across the lake. Reception staff is not nice and do not provide good advice (but restaurant staff is good). Sometimes dirty and let in anyone even locals from off the street. Floor is not good for moving backpacks it is very difficult.

Value for money, common areas better maintained

Breakfast was a good spread. Got a dorm, as I wasn't able to find private room while making a last minute booking. Considering it was a dorm, it was decently comfortable, people were quiet and respectful of sleeping time, there were curtains to block out the light. Ok value for money.

The showers didn't have hot water and one was blocked up and overflowing, which didn't feel clean. Outdoor spaces were more picturesque than the rooms themselves.

Good for San Pedro compared to other stays, but overpriced for what you get

The breakfast was good but small. The staff was friendly and helpful. The pool was nice and had a good view. We felt safe. It was easy to get to from the Embarcadero by foot or tuk tuk.

The resort seemed to be nicer than other stays in the town but it was a little overpriced for what you get. It was smaller than pictured, especially the restaurant and bar. It gets busy with day passers coming to take their Instagram photos. The beds could be more comfortable. Nobody came to clean our room in our 4 nights there (although we didn’t ask, but there was no sign).

Beautiful grounds and views! But def a noisey party town.

The property grounds were great! The pool, the restaurant, and in perfect location…walking distance to everything.

Our bathroom had a bad sewage smell. We had to make sure to keep the window open to help with the smell. The walls are very thin so you hear every noise from outside.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The view was beautiful. The rooms were clean.

I would have liked the pool to have at least semi-warm water.

Sababa Resort is a well known 4 star property in San Pedro & is an excellent place to stay!

The breakfast was included in the stay, even for Dorm customers. Breakfast was filling and could act as a brunch too! The pool facility was excellent too with lots of lounge chairs and hammocks available.

The only thing that could improve is the shared bathroom facilities in the dorm room in terms of cleanliness and regular trash cleaning. Also, if a complimentary soap & shampoo would be available in the bathroom, that could be really appreciated.

Sababa had great facilities and view, helpful staff (mostly Spanish speaking only), only downsides were noise, poor wifi

Despite everything it was nice to stay there

Beautiful property with a medium size pool but very clean and nice with fabulous lake view

The second night there was a Scorpio ???? in the bathroom,the toilet wasn’t really clean the way it was supposed to, I feel like those towels were already used by previous clients,even the bedsheets too,they weren’t frankly looks clean,after traveling in 37 countries first time I got breakfast without an orange juice included,they made me pay me for it,while I paid extra to get breakfast included,make sure y’all bring cash or paying extra for everything,even the room is non refundable they not going to charge the card,one more time bring cash if not y’all will be very disappointed.

A good 2-night stay close to town. Wish the room could have been kept a bit more clean.

Staff was super friendly. Breakfast was good, lots of variety. Great location.

The views were stunning. But the resort leaves much to be desired.

Lake Atitlan is beautiful. Beautiful views. Nicely decorated. The food and drinks were good.

Sometimes had no water at all in the shower. Even more rarely had hot water. Shower/tub area was really bad. Really terrible smell in rooms and resort. The staff was not friendly.

location!

it’s not a disable access hotel and the hotel has some bridges that are super slippery and the handles are not safe to hold. I highly recommend reinforcing the handles

Nice hotel but overpriced.

Good location. Lovely view. Very nice breakfast. Room good size and very comfortable.

Falsely advertised as having a spa. It has a massage table and therapist you can book. No room service possible. Overpriced for the service provided. Most staff are not very polite and not that interested in the guests.
